Okay, UFO stuff too

Okay, UFO stuff too

It’s that time of the year again!  Contact in the Desert. This year’s theme, Infinite Realms.

A continuation of the organized discussion and sharing of collected research investigating the incredibly bizarre series of events that has befuddled mankind forever.

What is the true nature of reality? Are there unseen parallel realms that interact with our plane of existence? Are we living in a world where non-human intelligence from those dimensions communicate with us? Are we capable of leaving our physical bodies and consciously exploring other realities? Is it all a simulation?

We may or may not find out all the answers today, but we begin the journey.  Here is Captain Ron Janix, Contact’s co-owner as well as your host for the event he has taken the helm of for the last 3 years.

After a quick round of cordialities and catching up, we got right to it.

Captain Ron

Here we are. Pretty busy. Right about a month out, we get really just slammed with everything. But it’s all good, just exciting.

JTV: The first thing I want to bring to everyone’s attention is that Thursday is a free day!

Captain Ron

Yeah. Free for everybody.

JTV:

Okay, so that’s something I’ve really got to push. We should have the entire community of Joshua Tree and high desert weirdos all be there for at least Thursday.

Captain Ron

100%. That is something we started last year and we really should get the word out to that because there’s going to be local people that are going to come and we feel like you know that’s part of the community there, that they should have a free chance to come get an idea of what Contact is all about. Because a lot of people I talk to that live out there, are like, yeah I’ve heard of it. Yeah, I’ve seen that thing around.

But they don’t really know what it is or what to expect. And yeah it’s a LOT so maybe it’s a good idea to start slow, just dip your toes into this pool. Don’t do a cannonball right in the middle of it, the impact is gonna be a bit much. The mind gets stretched in a lot of directions, if it’s extra dimensional, ultra terrestrial, if it’s just a simulation, time travelers, angels, demons, ascended masters- all that stuff. It’s a lot to take in.

JTV:

I agree, just so much stuff to try and wade through. And then also, like we spoke a little bit about last year, you have to really work on discernment.  Going into this with a COMPLETELY open mind will drive a person insane. And in some cases with disinformationist people involved, it has affected people’s mental health.  Which brings up another big point with the disclosure movement.  Why the Government run disinformation?!?  Why? Why would so much money, and effort go into something that is not “real”?

So we have a community that is part flat out lying to be a “special person”, part disinformation agent either willing and complicit or simply a useful idiot, and then we have the real deal.  Actual experiencers and those living in a more magical “director’s cut” of reality, living co-creationist and malleable-reality lives.

But as organizers, you have to have a pretty open door. There’s not much pruning that can really occur and people don’t seem to want any, we are really afraid to throw out the bath water because there may be a microscopic baby in it. But it can’t all be real. I was listening to Danny Sheehan, who I know you like and he’s a big part of this, but the auto-acceptance is too much for me.  He was discussing different races of aliens as if they were established fact, when in reality they are mostly just stories that have not been able to be completely verified.  We have a shaky foundation if it is just a collection of every tale ever told.

Captain Ron

I appreciate what he’s doing. But I do think he may be a little too enthusiastic about every single thing. I’ve been hearing so many people just sort of roll into this discussion with things that they feel have already been established. Like there’s people just constantly saying, oh, there’s this many kind of aliens. You’ve got the grays, you’ve got the tall whites, you’ve got all this stuff.

JTV:

The tall whites is one of the best examples of stories that I just can’t get behind because it it just hilariously ludicrous. You know, a race of aliens that only live at one part of the desert, on a military testing ground, and sometimes they like to pile up on top of each other and become a glowing radioactive “horse formation”. Yet some of the pundits in the UAP world, even a well-respected researcher like Danny, just rattle them off as “known alien races”.

Captain Ron (03:57)

That stems from that guy named Charles Hall. But yeah, there are a whole lot of things that I just can’t assume to be factual. Stories with nothing to back them up and leaning too far into being a sci-fi adventure story. I don’t know how these things get so far into the narrative, I think if ufologists hear it enough times, all of sudden it becomes, in their minds at least, a fact. It’s like, well, slow your roll on all of this.

JTV:

There’s also the people who insist they know so much more than they actually possibly could. Because of the nature of humanity being so awkward and frequently full of shit from the playground on, you just don’t know where they are coming from. The problem is that there’s something there.  An undeniable mystery to the universe, a basic consensus reality that seems to be flexible, and everything it might be, is touched on by Contact in the Desert’s many, many discussions and workshops.

Captain Ron

We do try to be as thorough as possible. The waiting for things to be disclosed is one of the worst parts.  So much waiting, and trickling out of information.  But it IS being discussed, at levels I would never even have dreamed of. More people are getting interested, we aren’t going to let this go.

JTV:

Yeah, this is a constant test of patience. Somebody I appreciate, Kelly Chase, a podcaster that is also a presenter at Contact, everything she does is so well researched and so thought out and written and discussed so concisely. But even she is an example of the irony of cryptic people wanting clear disclosure from the government. You know, she had an incident that happened to her that was very mysterious and it took her forever to come out and really, openly discuss what her ontological shock was.  Then recently she had another life-rattling event that she refuses to discuss.  More waiting and mystery.  Mystery is baked into this world!

Captain Ron

I think she’s the real deal. I think she really genuinely is curious and has had things happen. I agree, she is one of the best at researching and clearly explaining without demanding you just believe her.  It’s serious study and inquiry.  That is what moves things forward.  Everybody attending should see her discussions.

JTV:

I know you intentionally created a theme with the infinite realms and a multi-dimensional exploration of everything. What else is sort of trending or becoming part of the zeitgeist of the UFO world in the last 12 months?

Captain Ron

Well, in the last 12 months, we’ve certainly seen it open up politically. I mean, when’s the last time you had an ex-president and a current president talking about UFOs in the same week? Never. I mean, that to me was incredible. Both of those guys flat out saying the word alien and talking about aliens. We’ve had the vice president say he’s concerned about aliens. He thinks that they are demonic. That’s pretty incredible to have so many high level people talking about it. I don’t remember this ever being the case ever. We’ve got about a dozen congresspeople that speak about this on a regular basis. Burleson’s out there. Luna’s out there. They’re continuously bringing this to the forefront of the news and I love it. I think that’s been the big change that I’ve noticed recently is that high-level people are at least talking about it. I’m someone who does not see disclosure coming at all Officially from the government period, but I love that it’s being talked about on these high levels.

JTV:

I think it’s funny that the easiest way to get Trump to do anything is have Obama get some credit for it. So I’m glad he did it because he would have never even talked about it.

Captain Ron
Steve Bassett’s going out saying that was an intentional move by Obama that he would never just let something slip out of his tongue like that, that he did that as a shot across the bow to Trump because it was like a warning like look I’ll get credit for this even though I’m not officially disclosing you need to do this that’s how Steve interprets it and he certainly has a lot of insider knowledge.

JTV: Well, but I think people are finally losing some of the misplaced optimism they have when it comes to what Trump will do. You know, it’s very trackable. The only thing he does is anything that benefits him. So he’s not going to give us UAP Disclosure out of the goodness of his heart because that’s just not something he does, but if he gets the idea that it would make him legendary… well disclose away! Buuuut, this administration does not seem to be very good at disclosing files.

Captain Ron
That is a bit of an obstacle. Yeah. You know, I got a sense that part of the reason that people don’t want to disclose is because they don’t want to admit how stupid we are. Like we’re so mystified and you’ve got people in the Air Force and Vice President talking Bible-y stuff.

JTV:

At the same time, we’re laying the groundwork for Armageddon in the Middle East. Then we have AI standing in the wings waiting to just sweep up the mess.

Captain Ron

The thing that they say about disclosure being so dramatic and so overwhelming that people could not handle it. I think Burchett was the one who said that, you know, if people found out what it was, they’d curl up in a ball and cry for a week. But when it comes to the Bible stuff…

JTV:

Pretty funny that they think disclosure is too scary, but they’re fine with saying there’s a space guy that is watching you 24/7, might make your wife a pillar of salt, he might flood the entire planet, and if you just do the one wrong thing and forget to say please and thank you, you will burn in hell forever. Then we’ve got biblically accurate angels flying around that look like monsters in the sky and sometimes they steal the ladies.  The Bible is chock full of horrific stories, they teach this stuff in Sunday school.  We have been prepped for scary. They are so willing to accept biblical stuff as real but creatures visiting from elsewhere for whatever reason is just too much?

Captain Ron

I’ve been saying that for 15 years. I’ve been fascinated by people in the religion, you know, in religious communities who have no problem with these supernatural things that happen. Die, go to heaven. All of these different miracles or magic that’s required. But if you just think about nuts and bolts craft, not even getting into the interdimensional or other stuff, you get judged as being “out there”.

Just think about another civilization on another planetary system that happens to be a million years ahead of us. They would technologically be able to develop craft that could fly here. No magic. No mysticism, no paranormal, just technology and time. That’s the only thing that’s required for ET visitation. So I always struggle with how they can’t accept the possibility in this 3D world reality, no magic, no mysticism, none of these things. Yet they accept the angels and they accept all of the miracles required among religion. So that always baffled me.

JTV:

So do you know about the space “transients’ they discovered? Between 1949 and 1957, as a matter of procedure, the Palomar Observatory took shots of the heavens with their telescopes. These photographic plates were just placed in an archive so they could be referred to for comparison and study. Recently they began scanning them into a computer database and keep in mind, the night sky images were taken before we started placing satellites in the sky, but nevertheless the researchers were shocked to discover that there were hundreds, maybe thousands of things that came and went, that should not have been there.  No explanation. This is a great example that there is a mystery no matter what you believe in, we still have the inexplicable.

Captain Ron

100%. This is being brought to us by Dr. Beatrice Villarroel. She’s probably the foremost supporter of this concept. She will be giving a lecture and holding a workshop.  You can go talk to her directly about this.

JTV: Ha, I should have known that she would be presenting.  I am sure everyone is thrilled that you got Dr. Jacques Valee attending too.  He is probably the most respected researcher in this area of inquiry.

Captain Ron

You know, what a legend in the community, of course. So it’s going to be great to have him. I am really excited about it. To have such a level headed, genuine scientist coming at it in a way that is not, and it doesn’t need to be, exaggerated. That’s the beauty of how he approaches this stuff. I would love to have more of those. I think he puts people on a level headed discourse better than anyone else in the field.

Yeah, I wish we had more people like him like that. And I wish Hollywood would approach these stories that way as well, because, you just tell it as it is. Tell the Travis Walton story exactly how it is. You don’t have to embellish this thing.

JTV:

Speaking of Hollywood, what do you think of the new Spielberg disclosure thing?

Captain Ron

I can’t wait. I love that it’s 10 days after contact. And I think, you know, Close Encounters of the Third Kind was extremely influential. And it was very true to the folklore in the community, even when looking back even 50 years later. It rings true. So obviously Spielberg is very familiar with this topic. He’s obviously invested in this and I bet this, I would think that he knows more than someone like me. He’s got connections or something. I think he even said, there’s more truth than fiction in this movie.

JTV:

Did you see the movie Project Hail Mary? It’s a beautiful one. Now, after watching it, I found out that the best case scenario is to go watch it, then, I forget the name of the writer of the book but he also wrote The Martian, and he went on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s podcast and they discussed all the science in the movie.

Captain Ron

The writer is Andy Weir

JTV:

Ah, thanks, well he says that he writes his books thinking that Neil deGrasse Tyson is looking over his shoulder. So all the science is real, it’s accurate, which makes it so much more fun. And I think that’s the thing that makes Spielberg stuff super fun because it just has that air of legitimacy. It’s like we do have a sixth sense for stuff, a bullshit detector built into our beings and when things have that, firmament of being scientifically valid, it  just makes everything so much more fun and easier to become invested in 100%.

Captain Ron

Right? When it rings true, You know it.

JTV:

The workshop with Jacques Valle, still has tickets available. Let’s see, who else should people know about. You have Avi Loeb, that’s gonna be a great one. Richard Dolan is always super fun. Tim Gallaudet, retired rear admiral from US Navy. You genuinely have the who’s who of mysterious inquiry. There are a couple of people that I’m happy are not included. The hoaxters and grifters seem to be excluding themselves.  But everybody I would want to see is coming to your event.

Captain Ron

You’re gonna have a ball brother. Yeah, I love it. Dr. Hennessy Powell is a great presenter too. I don’t know if you’ve looked into her parapsychological research but it’s awesome. I’m still a little bit overwhelmed with this. This will be my third year doing the show, the first year I was completely lost, the second year I sort of had a good feeling of it, this year I feel pretty good. A lot of positive things will come from this.

JTV:

As always I appreciate your time.

Captain Ron

See you there!

Then, wow, shortly after this interview, the United States Government began releasing the UFO Files.  Yes, it is a mild, pathetic attempt at “Disclosure” and certainly intended as a distraction from our ongoing leadership catastrophes and the other set of files everyone wants released (the ones that rhyme with Schmepstein)

Then we have the latest mystery spreading amongst the UAP community regarding the 47s and 52s.  Supposedly future people that have travelled back in time to see if they can avoid the catastrophe that created them, because the world gets blown up and only the billionaires in their end-times bunkers survived. This would explain why “the Greys” look so weird, because they are the result of thousands of years of tech-bro inbreeding. The Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos future creepy babies.  Yeah, not a cool future, I would like to help avoid that however I can. So why don’t you join us, maybe we can find a way to make the future more liveable. Or maybe just come and discover other cool stories, or find out if you have remote viewing powers, or just hang out by the pool having some of the most cosmic discussions possible.

See you in Rancho Mirage.  Bring sunscreen, power bars, and a bag for the great stuff in the merchant area.  Go see the lineup at https://contactinthedesert.com/ and remember, THURSDAY IS FREE!
